This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions, plans, and API usage options provided through our website (memexai.in). By subscribing to our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Free Tier and Subscription Plans
Memex AI offers a free tier that allows you to experience the core functionality of the platform at no cost.
For advanced requirements (e.g., increased memory storage, higher frequency semantic indexing, priority processing, or custom API limits), we offer paid subscription options billed monthly or annually. Paid plan details and prices are clearly specified in our Pricing section.
3. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your paid subscription plan at any time through your account settings or by contacting us:
- Self-Service: Go to your Account settings dashboard and click on the "Manage Subscription" or "Cancel Plan" button.
- Email Support: Send a cancellation request to support@memexai.in using your registered account email.
Upon cancellation, your subscription access will continue through to the end of your current billing period (whether monthly or annual), after which your account will return to the standard free tier limits. No further payments will be charged.
4. Refund Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with Memex AI. If you subscribe to a paid plan and decide it does not fit your needs, you are eligible for a refund under the following conditions:
- 7-Day Guarantee: You may request a full refund of your first billing payment within 7 calendar days of your initial upgrade or subscription start.
- Subsequent Renewals: Renewal charges (whether monthly or annual) are non-refundable. We send renewal notification reminders for annual accounts, and you must cancel your plan before the renewal date to avoid automatic billing.
- API Usage Charges: If we introduce pay-as-you-go API consumption billing, charges based on actual resource consumption or custom API requests are non-refundable.
5. Requesting a Refund
To request a refund under our 7-day guarantee, please submit a request to our legal/support team:
Please include your registration email, name, subscription date, and the reason you are requesting a refund so we can process your request and improve our service.
6. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund request is approved, we will process the credit back to your original payment method (via Stripe/Razorpay or our payment processor).
Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund credit to appear on your bank statement or card transaction history, depending on your financial institution.
